CorrectPST Recovery Help Center
What’s wrong with your PST?
Choose the symptom you see. Each guide starts with the safest checks and explains when file damage is—and is not—the likely cause.
Start with the symptom
Outlook cannot open a PST file
Check the path, permissions, storage location, Outlook version, and profile before assuming the file is corrupt.
Outlook data file cannot be accessed
Separate a classic Outlook profile or default-store problem from an OST issue or a damaged local PST.
Cannot open the set of folders
Work through Microsoft’s startup, add-in, profile, and navigation-pane checks before repairing a data file.

Using CorrectPST
What files can CorrectPST diagnose?
CorrectPST supports Unicode Outlook PST files (format version 23) up to 7.5 GiB. It does not repair OST files, password-protected PSTs, older ANSI PSTs, or files deleted from a disk.
Is diagnosis free?
Yes. Diagnosis checks whether the PST has a structural problem that matches CorrectPST’s supported repair path. It does not use a repair credit or require payment.
When is a repair offered?
A repair is offered only after diagnosis finds a supported structural problem. One CorrectPST Light credit is used when an eligible repair begins; a successful diagnosis is not a recovery guarantee.
How are files handled?
PSTs transfer to private storage. Source files and terminal repair artifacts are retained for 24 hours after the job finishes, unless you choose Delete now sooner. PST contents are not used for AI training, and routine human access is not part of the service.
Can I close the browser?
Yes. Once an eligible repair is accepted, detached repair continues in the background. Return in the same browser to resume status checks for the protected job.
What does CorrectPST Light include?
CorrectPST Light costs $39 once and includes three repair credits. Credits remain with your CorrectPST account for separate eligible PST jobs.
For account or billing questions, never attach a PST or paste mailbox content into a support message.
