Recovery philosophy
Your mailbox is not a place to improvise.
CorrectPST’s initial repair strategy is intentionally narrow: retain validated content, reconstruct damaged indexes, and decline cases that require inventing data or resolving unsafe ambiguity.
That means some files will be classified as unsupported or unrecoverable. A clear decline is better than a plausible-looking PST that cannot be trusted.
Independent verification
A repair is not the same as a trustworthy result.
After repair, CorrectPST checks the candidate again as a separate validation step. The download is released only if the repaired file passes those structural checks. If it does not, CorrectPST does not label it verified.
Privacy by construction
Email contents stay out of analytics.
Your browser sends PST parts directly to private Cloudflare storage; filenames, paths, exact sizes, capabilities, signed URLs, and PST-derived data stay out of analytics.
Source files and verified repaired outputs are stored privately and automatically deleted 24 hours after a job finishes. Delete now makes downloads unavailable immediately and removes the files.

What to expect from CorrectPST
What PST problems is CorrectPST intended to handle?
The first repair path focuses on Unicode Outlook PST files whose mailbox content remains substantially intact but whose structural indexes or related metadata are damaged. Broader corruption and OST conversion are not currently supported. Read the safe PST repair guide.
Will I know whether recovery is possible before paying?
Yes. CorrectPST diagnoses first and offers paid repair only when the supported path applies. CorrectPST Light costs $39 once and includes three repair credits.
Will a repaired PST work in Outlook?
Candidate files must pass structural verification before they can be offered. Outlook compatibility is a required release gate, but no repair tool can honestly guarantee recovery for every damaged PST.
What happens if the file cannot be safely recovered?
CorrectPST is designed to decline ambiguous or unsafe repairs rather than invent mailbox data or silently choose between conflicting revisions.
How is my PST uploaded and stored?
Your PST transfers directly from the browser to private Cloudflare storage. Files are automatically deleted 24 hours after the job finishes, or sooner when you choose Delete now.
Does CorrectPST support OST files?
Not in the initial scope. CorrectPST focuses on supported Unicode PST repair, not OST-to-PST conversion.
What does CorrectPST Light include?
CorrectPST Light is a $39 one-time purchase with three CorrectPST repair credits. Each eligible repair attempt uses one credit when repair begins. Credits stay with your CorrectPST account and can be used on separate eligible PST jobs.
How long are my files kept?
Available source and repaired files are retained for 24 hours after a job finishes. You can choose Delete now sooner. Repaired files can be downloaded again during the retention window.
How large can my PST be?
The MVP automated repair service accepts PST files up to 7.5 GiB.
How long does a repair take?
Repair time varies with the file and damage. CorrectPST reports truthful job phases rather than an estimated completion time.
Can I close the browser during repair?
Yes. After a repair is accepted, it continues in the background. Return to the CorrectPST workspace in the same browser and CorrectPST will resume checking the protected job status.
Can CorrectPST staff read my email or use it for AI training?
Routine human access to PST contents is not part of the service, and PST contents are not used for AI training.
Is CorrectPST affiliated with Microsoft?
